Not all Hot Yoga is equal.  Fred Busch Hot Power Vinyasa Yoga and Bikram Yoga are not the same thing even though Bikram Yoga can also be called Hot Yoga.    Hot Yoga  can actually be one of a variety of Power Vinyasa Styles or of course it can be Bikram style. While they both add varying degrees of heat to the practice room,  in many other ways they maintain different focuses and differing intentions.

Bikram Yoga has seen tremendous success and as a result Mr. Bikram has accomplished the American dream of vast wealth.  His success in Business and his ability to start a Yoga style that has spread so far is a testament to his personality and the power of all yoga practices.  Indeed the Yoga industry continues to grow rapidly.

However there are reasons why at this point in time, due to a variety of factors, a sophisticated Bikram Studio owner may feel like now is the right time to pivot to a different style of Yoga, one that offers all the same benefits as the Bikram system.  While nobody can argue the benefits accrued by students who practice Bikram Yoga and their stories of success, this article discusses a few of  the reasons why timing and general sensibility may point certain owners of Bikram Yoga studios to explore other options.

Top 5 Reasons to Convert Your Bikram Studio and possibly select the direction of a Fred Busch’s Miami Yoga Hot Power Vinyasa Franchise

1. Search Results are not Ideal

As the above image of a google search on the word ‘Bikram’ shows,  there is a crossover of Bikram’s professional legal publicity with the Yoga studio search.  Mr. Bikram like anyone in the United States is innocent until proven otherwise but no sensible yoga studio owner would encourage search results like the above.

2. Bikram Yoga is a bit too hot anyway

Bikram Yoga itself is practiced at a temperature that is too hot.  Such high temperature create safety considerations and may even promote overextension of muscles.  Fred Busch Hot Power Vinyasa Yoga uses a temperature about 10 degrees cooler than Bikram Yoga but still registers at a very toasty 95 degrees and the sweat begins pouring off most students after the 2nd downward dog.

3. Bikram Yoga’s style is both similar and different from Fred Busch Hot Power Vinyasa

Bikram Yoga and Fred Busch Hot Power Yoga are similar in that they both employ heat in their classes and both utilize highly stable sequencing allowing the students to know exactly what they can expect and always satisfying,

Miami Yoga’s Franchise  is based on Fred Busch Hot Power Vinyasa Yoga. While it is a very different style with different elements from my experience of the many Bikram Teachers i have trained over the many years, the time teaching Bikram has seasoned them to be masterful at teaching other styles…once the training levels are brought up to speed to match the criteria for Fred Busch Miami Yoga Hot Power Vinyasa style.

It is simple for Bikram teachers (we handle training of all staff and teachers) to learn  and very enjoyable and effective for students.  Miami Yoga classes consist of opening pranayama and breath awareness, warm ups like sun salutations, standing poses, balancing poses, prone postures, core, arm balance poses, supine poses, inversions, final relaxation with massage and final meditation. Fred Busch Yoga aims not just to meet expectations of students but to surpass.

4. Converting an Existing Yoga Studio is not difficult or very expensive

Since you are already in possession of a licensed Yoga studio in your neighborhood and you have already undergone huge investment to outfit your studio to Bikram specifications, studio owners would find the conversion process a limited investment.  For a fee similar to one Teacher Training tuition with Bikram you can purchase the Franchise Fee of $19,900, and while there are other costs of course related to conversion of premises and training, they are minor compared to the investment already brought forth.

5. Have your own Teacher Training Program

Have your own teacher training program in your studio.  With Fred Busch’s Miami Yoga franchising you are destined to host your very own teacher training program as our equal partner with us providing  Fred Busch, Mayara Busch and/ or approved senior faculty for Teacher Training in your studio’s location or region.
