The word mantra comes from Sanskrit and means to liberate the mind (MAN: mind; TRA: liberation).<\/p>\n

Mantras are a type of sound, Word, or phrase that has spiritual and psychological power.<\/p>\n

Although the Mantras, due to their Sanskrit roots, can be considered as a Hindu practice, in reality, most religions and traditions incorporate the use of chanting.<\/p>\n

Why are they so powerful?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sanskrit sounds are scientific and specific frequencies that are associated with your Chakras and help to balance and energize them.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In that sense, it is thought that vibrations produced by Mantras have healing effects that also fill us with strength and energy.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Besides, many studies have shown that chanting mantras reduces stress levels and that, because of their repetition, they are a mini-meditation.<\/p>\n

Mantras are a fundamental tool used in yoga and meditation to help calm the ego. As we repeat and concentrate on a mantra, our mind has no space or time for other thoughts and, therefore, we can relax and meditate more deeply.<\/p>\n
