Fred Busch’s Yoga Teacher Training Instructs – Top 3 Reasons to Never Take Things Personally

In his Hot Power Vinyasa Teacher Training, Fred Busch mentions many things about enlightenment and the ways to live more enlightened in daily life!  One key skill of the enlightened Yogi is to never take things personally no matter what!  When we take things personally it makes us suffer and experience negativity in our lives.

Reason #1 to Never Take Anything Personally – You are not the center of the universe.

People are not thinking about you. The person who has done the action that you took personally was not even thinking about you! People are doing funny things mostly because they are suffering and trapped in their own limited world with their own limited resources and nothing they do or say has anything to do with you even if it appears otherwise.  Most people have no idea how to eat intelligently or how to use their mind’s in a constructive way and this holds them back from experiencing wellbeing.

Reason #2 Never Take Anything Personally – You don’t deserve to have negativity in your life.

Taking things personally causes spirals of negativity.  When somebody is suffering and they challenge you in ways that are considered difficult it is very important to not throw fuel into the fire by adding more unconscious energy into the situation.  People need compassion not more reactivity  when they are sick and suffering.

Reason #3 Never Take Anything Personally – Compassion is the most powerful response to anything.

Taking things personally does not allow for the most powerful response to any situation, compassion!  When we express compassion for others it makes us more powerful and feel more peace in our lives.  It is not easy out there on earth in the year 2015 and there are many stressful factors and reasons why people are suffering and unconsciously lashing out at anyone near them. Compassion makes all the difference between suffering and living in deep peace.
